Forensic Evaluation

Forensic Evaluation reads what happened to you. After a death, a good reading tells you what killed you and where, everything that fell from your body, and who looted your remains and what each of them took. If someone looted you while under Incognito, you only ever learn the name they were wearing. The rest of the time it reads old murders and old butchery out of the ground.

How you train it Start Forensic Evaluation in any town, or at your own house. Each successful attempt reads a story out of the ground, and after you die, the next one tells you how it happened and who took your things.

What you need Standing in a town, or at home.

What it reads

After you die: What killed you, where, and what fell from your body
Your remains: Who looted them, and what each of them took
Looked back over: Your deaths in the last 7 days
At Grandmaster: +20% leather from every skinning

The Camping bonus climbs the whole way up rather than waiting for Grandmaster — half the skill is half the bonus. It lifts how much leather comes off a kill, never which tier of hide drops.

🎭

A thief under Incognito is read by the name they were wearing, never their own. The ground only remembers what you would have seen.

Forensic Evaluation tells you what happened to your things. It does not bring them back.
